and a bunch of non-classic recent crap that I like despite myself.

Now I've lost the ability to focus my eyes...

Touching on the debate about the first horror movie, when was Edison's Frankenstein made? Is it even available on DVD/VHS?

Edisons "Frankenstein" was made in 1910 I believe and as far As I know it's not available on any home video format

I am watching the 1953 original release of War of the Worlds at this very moment.

I really liked this movie, actually. Very creepy tone to it.

I just saw the original "Tales from the Crypt" (1972) on Fox Movies. Hadn't seen it in about 20 yrs. Still creepy. The original "Cat People" (1942) was on the day before.
