I was looking at this list of so-called "Video Nasties" (by The UK censorship Board) and was wondering how many had seen them. They all under British Titles so U.S. May be different (I've marked the ones I've seen - x) :

I saw most of them when i was perhaps a little too young to understand what all the fuss was about (12 or 13). When VHS first came out, we were one of the first in our street to get a VCR and rented 2 or 3 films a night. Just happened that some of films we got happened to be the banned ones. I think most of them are available if you know where to look (mostly heavily cut); I've still got the original "The Burning" (Uncut Version) including the infamous cutting the fingers off scene with the garden shears, lovely! |
