This one to me looks awful. To each their own I suppose. Ray Stevenson or whoever looks too old to play Frank Castle. It looks like it might be a fun action flick but not as a Punisher movie.

I think it will be more faithful to the comics and hence be a better adaptation. Wait and watch.

I've been waiting for Benjamin Button for a while now and it looks fantastic.




Jaa can be the next big thing from Asia, I heard they're working with him to create a videogame for a movie he's doing. Wonder if it will tie into this film. I'd like to see him become a big star ala Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, Jet Lee, Etc...

he could be the biggest ever - if they'd give him a smarter movie to appear in. what he does is remarkable - but the films he's in so far have been immature pieces of shit. action fans are smarter now .. i want to see an actual story ..

I could have cared less what his earlier films were, they were just showcases for the things he could do. Not every action movie needs to be smart but I'll agree that he can't continue to star in such shallow films.

i saw and ad for Benjamin Button and had mixed feelings ..

it looked like another simon birch ... taking an outlandish premise for the express purpose of holding a mirror up to ourselves.


i find that oftimes these films try to be far more weightier than they are - not quite as deep as they attempt to be.

hopefully i'm wrong but that was the gut impression i got when i saw the trailer at the theatre a while back.

I don't know what it is, but there was a general feel of the first that I absolutely loved. I think in trying to make this one seem like a tougher challenge for the gang, by having a yeti, a dragon etc. it just seems too much. I liked the simplicity of the first one. If that makes sense...

My main issue is the pretentious title. Bond movies should have titles like "Hammercannon" and "Yesterday Has Vanquished Next Week".
