Yeah, this "Dracula Prisoner of Frankenstein" appears to be one of 3 movies known as "Dracula vs. Frankenstein"...

The other two are:

"Dracula vs. Frankenstein" (the Al Adamson film)

and

"Assignment Terror" aka "Dracula vs. Frankenstein" (the film starring Michael Rennie and Paul Naschy)

incredibly bad

I found Dracula vs. Frankenstein unbelievably bad. As the critic said of some other movie, "It looks like it was filmed in someone's garage." I only watched it because it had Forest J. Ackerman in the cast.

I saw the "Dracula vs. Frankenstein (1971)" (the Al Adamson film) when I was a young teen. I don't remember being very good, just kinda weird, as I was used to the Universal monster film treatments. The TV hosts were making fun of the film, which they normally did, but I think they were taking aim at it's quality. I remember the end, where Drac and Frank's Monster fight, and it was way too dark. SPOILER HERE - I remember Drac rips Frank's arms off, and then his head... so at least I was happy they were definitive about the outcome. ::big grin::
