YES! You're awesome. I'm absolutely looking forward to this one. :D

I've heard absolutely incredible things about this one.
It's coming to our fair city in December. Can't wait.

As an interesting side note, a friend of mine saw it in Los Angeles. While he was standing in line, he turned around to realize that Paul Thomas Anderson was right behind him, waiting to get into the same show.

Let the Right One In is my 2nd favorite film of the year. Right behind The Dark Knight and ahead of Trick 'R Treat.

The film is starkly beautiful, moving and has moments of amazingly brilliant violence. My writing partner and I were actually approached about the English language translation - so I have a DVD screener:D but we had no interest in the job - the film was too good to be monkeyed with and I'm certain the adaptation will suffer in the translation.

What makes the film so impactful is the way it perfectly captures the sense of upheval inherent in the pubescent mind. The age of the protagonists is everything to the story - they are trapped in the realm between innocence and experience which allows the supernatural to integrate with the natural world with a sense of magic realism.

All I can remember is there was a boy/man whose family left thier home but he stayed behind. He walled in a bathroom in the middle of the home and lived in it. A new family moved in and he is living in that enclosed room w/o the new people knowing. Its an older movie 1980s or older.

Bad Ronald

Scott Jacoby, a nerdy high school youth, accidently kills a neighbor's young daughter. Panicking mother, Kim Hunter, fears the police will not believe that it was an accident. She moves her son into a bathroom that she turned into a secret hiding place. After her death, a new family moves in. In the meantime, Ronald has gotten lost in a fantasy world created in his own head from being hidden away for so long.
