Horror Forum Staff?

Yeah, my first topic got deleted. So here it is again.

Of course you all know we greatly need some mods and admins here that are rather active, and know the forums well. (Or know a lot about forums in general.) I for one would love to help out being a mod, but so far; I don't think much progress is being made. But I'll try to get a hold of Horror.

Well last night I made a whole new layout for the forums, it's kind of in a rough design, so bare with me here...I made 22 forums into 13. Here we go....

Horror.com Community
Horror.com Announcements (Replacing Site Announcements)
Coroner's Corner (Replacing Contributor's Corner)

General Horror.com
General Off-Topic Chat (Replacing Horror.com General Forum, New Member Lounge and Events & Happenings)
TV/Movie Chat (Replacing TV Shows)
Music Chat (Replacing Music)
Gaming Chat (Replacing Games)
Reading/Writing Chat (Replacing comics and Horror Fiction Posts)

Horror.com Media
Horror Movie Chat (Replacing Modern Horror Movies, Upcoming Horror Movies, Classic Horror Movies, Indie Horror Movies and Horror Film Makers)
Horror News Chat (Replacing News, Reviews & Article Discussions)
Horror Art/Graphics Chat (Replacing Horror Art)
Horror Memorabilia (Replacing Toys & Props)

Horror.com Staff
Horror.com Network (Replacing Questions)
Improvement and Suggestions (Replacing Site Suggestions)

Now I'm having a problem replacing News, Reviews & Article Discussions, because since most of the official news and reviews and whatnot come from Horror.com, it should be in the Community forum. But since it deals with Horror, I think it should go in media.

What do you think?

About 30-45 minutes.

Only because this place is a bit cluttered. Also if we do get mods, it'll be easier to move topics to the right forum, if posted in the wrong forum.

Good luck.

Why exactly are you re-inventing the site again? Just curious.

Digital Murders 12-18-2003 08:15 PM

Better productivity, and it'll make it easier to find where to post things, instead of posting something in the wrong forum.

It should also clean up all the clutter the forum seems to have. I just think it could be a little more organized.

Not exactly re-inventing it, just saying it needs...well a clean up I suppose.

And then of course we all know we are in need of mods. Horrors PM box is full and I dunno his e-mail address...so I guess I'll have to find another way to contact him.

Call me old fashioned, but I like the way it's set up. I'm pleased that the movie forums are separated, it makes it easier to find what you are looking for...and to find out who the real fans are. I don't think I'd like it if they were all lumped under one category. That's just my opinion though.

As far as people posting the wrong thing in the wrong forum, they just don't look around. Most people tend to stay in the general forum.

I do agree that mods are needed. There is some stuff that just needs to go.

avenger how about you?? to be a mod??
