This was a very brutal movie but had good gore scene's in the movie this was a very good Cannibal movie comes near the top with Cannibal holocaust.

I hear real people were killed in this movie.

It was a very reliable source. How do you know that YOU are not in error.

Were you there during filming......I think NOT.

My uncle was an extra on that film and we never saw him again.

i hear real film was used, but all of the people who acted, directed, edited, etc .. were made out of foam rubber

And on opening night, the people watching in the theater were brutally and mercilessly slaughtered by the production crews, after the first show was over.

For cheap and quick publicity.

That would explain the special effects quality.

However, in an exceedingly short-sighted act, they also killed the film critics that were in the audience. As a result, this film was destined to remain a poor cousin of Cannibal Holocaust.
