I'm going to Johns Hopkins in Baltimore on Monday ('bout a 3-4 hour drive from where I live) and I will definitely lose my mind if the snow interferes somehow. I made the appointment to see this specialist all the way back in July! I swear I am going to get there if I have to crawl on my hands and knees all the way.

It should be OK by Monday. Good luck with the specialist!

So much snow. I feel like Jack Torrence trapped in the Overlook.

I left work last night - my chair was fine.
I come back today and it's broken, it is lilting to the side and back to the point where sitting on it is like doing pilates.

a couple of days of this and my ass will be firm and round.

Not to distract from your firm round ass...but ain't ya a bit curious what happened to your chair?

Maybe he means your chair experienced some extra action by the cleaning crew. Have any Lysol, or pickle eggs?

that was the first thought that crossed my mind

Ah but here's the rub (pun not entirely intended - well maybe a little)
I work in a secure room. Cleaning staff can't get in there

So it was a ghost or you're blacking out. Case solved.
