I think they loosely based "The Girl Next Door" on it, as well as "An American Crime" Although I haven't seen An American Crime.

This horror is disturbing. Now we wait for the film adaptation...::roll eyes::

I read that article about the austrailian family a little while ago and was so confused by who was related to who there was that many names and people involved. strange world we live in huh??x
