Post a pic of your ticket stub when you go see a movie in the theatre.

I think I have like 20 now because I've been hoarding them. I completely forgot about this :P

Almost ten bucks for a movie?! Jeezus!

I have ticket stubs from when I frequented the local imax when I was in college. I don't remember seeing to many horror films at the time because my friends aren't big horror fans, and I didn't have my license to go by myself. Only one I know I have for sure is for The Wolfman 2010. I need to add that to my collection of werewolf stuff if I ever find it again.

I used to collect my movie ticket stubs when I was little. I had over 100. My town was weird and charged $2.50 for kinds 12 and under and $4.50 for 13 and up. On Sunday during matinee it was $1.25 and $2.50. I was able to get in for 1.25 until I was around 16 or so because I looked so young. I went every weekend and had so many stubs but I don't know what happened to them. I know I had several Forest Gump stubs. I had a decent horror collection of stubs since my grandpa would buy my rated r tickets for me. I remember once I wanted to go see Vampire In Brooklyn since it was between that, How To Make An American Quilt and something else so some friends and I all got tickets for American Quilt and just walked in to Vampire In Brooklyn.

Second time seeing Crimson Peak.
Wanted 3D IMAX this time but got to the theater too late. No problem, gives me an excuse to go a third time. ::love::

Friday and Saturday nights are usually expensive. The first showing on Saturday morning is good because there's usually no one there, and it's really cheap.

I think horrorcrux should continue posting tickets to horror shows so this can become a thread on the MPAA's irrelevance.

horcrux2007 11-02-2015 06:23 AM

I'll post a picture of every ticket I have so far this year.

How cheap do they get? I can't imagine paying what I would for the DVD after a few years when the price drops. Matinees at our local theater are $5, a buck cheaper than usual unless it's 3D (which I don't waste my money on).
