What are some good documentaries/books on the topic?

I usually watch YT to listen about true crime, and then read books on psychology, as that is what is the most interesting to me.

Generally, where do you watch/read about this stuff?
And what are good documentaries or books on this topic you would recommend?

Books by Harold Schecter are a good start. He's written solid bios on Ed Gein (DEVIANT) and Albert Fish (DERANGED) to name a couple. Also THE A-Z ENCYCLOPEDIA OF SERIAL KILLERS (co-written by former FANGORIA editor David Everitt) and THE SERIAL KILLER FILES are compelling if disturbing reading.
True Crime section at a decent bookstore or Big Box (Barnes and Noble, Books-A-Million) should have these and others.

Good luck-it is a fascinating subject.

look up JCS Psychology- Criminal psychology on youtube, that guy makes really good videos on killers/criminals and their interrogation, and the psychology behind whats really going on, very interesting. there are a bunch of cases to choose from, and they were all very well made videos.
