New Horror Avatars Now Available

I know that most of you longtime members have created your own custom avatars, but for those newer users who haven't had the time, we've added some new default avatars that you can select from your user control panel.

These new avatars are cute horror icons - you can see them by checking the new "Cute Scary Avatars" category in the "Edit Avatar" section of your control panel.

Enjoy!

We need you to increase the file size for avatars, Mr.Horror!!:o

The forum upgrade to the newest vBulletin version should fix that. Horror might change avatar specs after that big upgrade is safely completed.

So what other changes can we expect? Will they be drastic? Will it be made easier to post pictures?

The basic plan is to start with this upgrade of the main site "engine", then look at a redesign, latest forum version, and additional community features for the site. We have a number of features in mind, but we are totally open to suggestions if you have any.

As far as the picture posting - what needs to be done to make it easier?

- Attachments in posts have been disabled. Enabling them again would be a big help.

- Also, the latest version of IE asks for script prompts when a link or an image is to be inserted into a post.

"This website is using a scripted window to ask you for information. If you trust this website, click here to allow scripted windows..."

That is annoying. Maybe the upgrade will disable it.

Yeah, photo attachments were disabled during the last upgrades over 2 years ago...We all had to get photobucket accounts at that time, and have been hosting our images ever since.

I'm still waiting on those color changes, btw ;)

Black with red shades? No chance.

Horror loves grey.
