Leatherface - 2017

I wouldn't say I loved this movie, but I thought it was entertaining.

Yeah it's clearly low budget, with no real known actors in it. For some I think it was their first roles.

But yeah, all right as a straight to DVD (or TV) movie. But to say it sucks, nah...I would say it was okay. :)

I liked it also. I couldn't compare to the other ones but it was entertaining none the less....

I wish they portrayed Leatherface (Jed) as more mentally unstable throughout the movie. Having him generally normal and turning at the end was kind of intuitively unsatisfying. It emphasizes the whole family cult mentality though. It was entertaining overall. Basically just a cool cop chase.

I think it was also done just so the 'Twist' would work..

After the 3D film, I had such low hopes for this and I was pleasantly surprised. Ok, it really doesn't fit into the series but did we really want another rehash of far superior material.

Saw it and hated it.Nothing will beat the original and from now on i will never bother with any remake, reboot, sequel, prequel or whatever crap they churn out.I`m done with this franchise.Leave the original be.

I agree. The original is easily a stand alone classic though the second, with Dennis Hopper, was a fun ride.
