haha lived in a village named Aldie two years ago in a house over 100 years old for a year.....now I'm on a mountain blah. I just miss what I'm used to I guess. Loved the village though but got lots of weird looks....

I hear ya. I feel like I have a love/hate relationship with the area I live. I won't go on about all the wrong backasswards things that go on 'round here...but instead try to stay focused on the positive things...abundant wildlife, wildflowers, clean air & water, open space, low population, and remember you are the alternative culture! Celebrate diversity fight cultural homogenization!!
