nudity is horror flims

does nudity make a horror film better does it make the story line better or is it just there sometimes to take ur eyes off the killer sneaking up behind the two teenagers having sex i belive it can enhance a story line as long as it is tasteful

i think nudity CAN be used tastefully, but for the most part it's not. for example, shannon elizabeth in 13 ghosts when the jackle was tearing the shit out of her clothes. she didn't get naked, but c'mon.. do you really need to see her shirt RIGHT NEAR HER BOOB get torn up, with an extra zoom-in closeup of it? hardly.

oh, perfect, example from the same movie. the one ghost who was naked, that's nudity, but i didn't have a problem with that. that was her character, and she was nude

so just depends on how the director, or whoever, decides to use the nudity

depends on the horror film.
take the teenage sex nudity from a slasher film .... and its half the film it should be ... its sort of an expected standard.

in a good quality atmospheric grade a horror film it's unnecessary unless it is intregral to the story.

hmmmm...... how can I answer this with integrity and class........fuck it..I have no morals.

BRING ON THE BOOBS.

I can't really imagine where it would be 'integral to the story'...Maybe in Last House On The Left...But, for the most part, it's basically just gratuitous, superfluous and completely unnecessary....

BRING ON THE NIBLETS!

(Woo-hoo!)

Well, that question is like asking, Should I put pancake syrup on my pancakes. I dunno. Do you like pancake syrup? Then put some on there. Do you like strawberries? Then put some on there. I usually like my pancakes with whatever. I like my horror films with niblets included. Usually this helps to ensure that the horror film won't get sold on Ebay later on down the line. I'll say, "Well, that film is definitely a piece of crap, but on the other hand, it does have niblets." Ummmm...what was the question again?

Come on......Linnea Quigley dancing around in the cemetary would not have had the same impact if she was wearing clothes.

OK...how about "LifeForce". That movie would have sucked had it not been for Mathilda May's stunning ....um...er....performance.

Okay...I see your point completely...the entire effect would be lost, and quite possibly ruin the entire concept of the movie, had she been wearing a towel:rolleyes:

lol:p
