Newbie to classic horror cinema
 

Hello guys.
Im entering now the world of classic horror cinema.
I was looking for books or other media that have the history of horror cinema, by decade, talking about the best movies of that decade so I vould watch them and read about them.

On this very website, we have a thread titled "1896 - 2012: The Official HDC Selection from 100+ Years of Horror Cinema", which selects the best films by decade, and includes comments on the films.

Off the top of my head I'm not aware of any media or book that covers what you're asking, but I'm sure there are some.
