"Break" Movie (HELP IDENTIFY)
 

My mother is trying to identify a movie from the 1980's with BREAK in it's name. She says the main character's name was something like "Paul Ster...". It's a mystery witha twist, and it's about a guy waking up in the hospital, living with his wife and going to work as he slowly starts to remember things.

Turns out my mother had a brainfart - none of those clues were right. The is actually titled Shattered. Go figure. Thanks for the help anyway.
