Any fans of Bollywood Horror here?

So, horror plays a big role in the Indian Film Industry, unfortunately the genre hasn't been treated well. In the 70s, we had the Ramsays who made kinda rehashed Hollywood ideas. Then we had Ram Gopal Varma who changed the face of Indian Horror with his films like Raat and Bhoot. Vikram Bhatt gave it an erotic aura with his films like the ones in Jism series. Anyone else a fan of these kind of films?

I honestly don't know if I've even watched any. Are there any werewolf films?? I'd at least check them out.

I actually watched a found footage one that was pretty decent. Found it on youtube quite awhile ago.

I have watched a few and mostly liked them but one thing does put me off them and that is the long run times... for some reason all the films seem to be over 2 hours long every time, i have no issues with long films in general but do hate it when films are padded out for no apparent reason.

Not bad. They spoke enough English and performed believably enough for me to understand what was going on. And I'm kinda surprised they pulled off a satisfying horror movie without any blood effects. There were very little effects at all actually. I am impressed. I would certainly watch more Bollywood horror.

There was another I saw and liked but it's taking longer to find. It started off with 2 losers trying to find girls to shoot porno with but end up on some cursed land.

I've seen enough horror movies to know how this ends. ::big grin::

Indian Horror Films

Bollywood has several horror films. It's a genre that's been active since the 70s. The eighties had pulp films by the Ramsays, Vinod Talwar, and such. Here's a link to some of these films on YouTube:
