i know it's not horror .. but Shoot 'em Up was probably one of the most fun films i've seen in years.

i'd recommend it to anyone who appreciates the absurd.

Ditto. I hadn't had that much mindless fun in a while.

I have not seen any of those. And I am very disappointed and confused that Netflix does not have Spoorloos. :(

Eyes Without a Face I've wanted to see for some time, actually, mostly inspired by your avatar, Fortunato (I intrinsically trust your taste).

...

And, I agree with the lot of you - Shoot 'Em Up was an absolute blast.

Try searching The Vanishing- often times its listed under its American title name. Just look for The Vanishing from 1988, not 1993.

I just looked and it has a "save" button instead of add which is weird because I have a fairly recent copy of the Criterion edition of Spoorloos right here... oddly enough though it does say "The Vanishing" even on the Criterion dvd cover.

It's really worth it I think, especially if you like atmospheric (if a bit methodical in its approach) movies.

Such a wacky, fun, creepy little movie.
