Best Hammer film
In your opinion what is the best hammer film.
|
I can't answer that with one answer. I thought their Dracula films were their best stuff. "Horror of Dracula" I thought delivered the nicest basic product in terms of pacing, look, and atmosphere. "Dracula Has Risen from the Grave" I thought had the most interesting story. Can't pick just one! Gotta have at least two.

Okay. I gotta add "The Abominable Snowman" to this discussion. That's an awesome movie. Well written, well acted, a lot of fun...serious fun, if you will.

Curse of The Werewolf The Brides of Dracula .....there's simply way too many to narrow it down to one. |
Ive actually seen painfully few Hammer films...
Out of what Ive seen, my favourite has to be Hound of the Baskervilles. Cushing was born to play Holmes. |
It is absolutely impossible to pick just one! They're all great.

Their horror films are as endearing and cherished as the Universal monster movies. Both studios were really good at making classy horror flicks.

not forgetting the sci-fi output
professor bernard quatermass....what a guy  |
Nigel Kneale wrote some awesome stuff.
