Started to watch that but just didnt hold my interest.

What a way to waste Michael Rooker!

Thought maybe that was "the Ninth Gate" with Johnny Depp, that I haven't seen. Sounds like Devil's Gate is pretty blah.


Ender's Game (2013)
9/10

In near future, a high-military IQ boy is recruited to Battle School by the International Fleet to be trained to defeat an anticipated second attack on Earth from an Alien race.

If you like the plot, much better idea to read the excellent 324 page short novel, published 1985, of the same name, which won both the 1985 Nebula Award and the 1986 Hugo Award for best novel.

Excellent adaptation of the novel. Hits on the important plots and characters judiciously. Supreme special effects without being at all gaudy or excessive.

Don't Breathe - 5.5/10

Not as good as I was hoping for, but what is nowadays?
