'spirited away' was pretty great too, once i got over the annoyance of ichiro.

I've seen Solaris (another great movie), but not Andrei Rublev... I'd love to though. I absolutely adore Tarkovsky's method of direction. It may be considered slow, but the way he can focus on a single, simple object or scene and make it so beautiful ... well, it's the mark of a truly great director. |
