Met a friend at a restaurant called The Tilted Kilt. Turned out to pretty much be an Irish Hooters. Food was good, though. Guinness was on special, so I took advantage of that, too.

Used to work at an Irish bar that had a Tilted Kilt on the menu: rye/russian/corned beef/potatoes/cabbage/kraut/swiss. Open faced in that order, weighed like a pound or so.

The temperatures had been so warm here, it just felt right to have summer food. Last night had meatloaf, mac and cheese, creamed corn, and green beans, with lemon meringue pie for dessert (I was at my aunt and uncle's house for dinner). This morning I had a bowl of Quaker Oatmeal Squares and a cup of coffee.

Hey, what'd you think?

I'm eating a chocolate chip bagel and washing it down with a large black coffee.
