The Mist was good, but in no terms better than The Green Mile, much less The Shawshank Redemption.

That and 1408 were better King adaptations of recent times (more so 2007)...BUT, among all King adaptations, nothing (I repeat NOTHING) beats The Shawshank Redemption.

As far as I'm concerned, The Shawshank Redemption is the best Stephen King adaptation out there. Including The Shining. Perhaps it's because the film is a favourite of my parents, and I've sat through it with them at least 8 or 9 times.

I'm excited to see it. For a belated Birthday present, my boyfriend is taking me out to dinner and then to see There Will Be Blood tomorrow.

I'm psyched. PT Anderson is one of my all-time favorite directors.

Now that I've seen everything I needed to... my favourites...

JUNO
Atonement
Zodiac
No Country For Old Men
There Will Be Blood
Gone Baby Gone
Superbad
Planet Terror / Death Proof

King of Kong was the best documentary I saw.
