Throw Down 6/10.
Bit of an unusual one. I think the director intended to make more of the story, than rather show more martial arts scenes, and since all the fighting was based on judo, which doesn't seam to be as inventive, as other contact martial arts, I found some of the 'grappling' action scenes rather repetitive. Not a bad film, with a few humorous scenes and a pretty good sound track. |
Perfect Blue - ****1/4
Interesting story, they thankfully didn't go with the obvious ending, stylistically similar to Requiem for a Dream (was actually a bit of an influence for Darren Aronofsky) |
"Bunshinsaba" 6/10
So-so. |
"Vampire hunter D: Bloodlust" 8/10
Damn good manga horror.:) |
The Eye 2
Not as good as the first but still pretty good. Love the visuals. |
"Blood: The Last Vampire" 4/10
Not good. |
Ring 0, Birthday - Exceptionally good film. So haunting. Horrifying, yet tragic. I have to watch it again.
