 No Misfits?

Halloween cannot be thoroughly enjoyed without the horror inspired sounds of the Misfits. Above all is the classic 'Halloween' which is indeed the anthem for the holiday. If you're not making your own mix, 'Cuts from the Crypt' is a great compilation of horror tracks including two songs from George Romero's Bruiser. My recommendation is to throw in discs 1 & 2 from the Misfits box set as well as 'American Psycho' and 'Famous Monsters.'

 Other greats for a Halloween party include: Nekromantix - Night of the Loving Dead; Tiger Army - I & II; Slayer - God Hates Us All; and maybe even a little American McGee's Alice.

"Candy apples and razorblades..."

How about Werewolves of London by Warren Zevon, or Don't Fear the Reaper by Blue Oyster Cult.

There are a lot of Alice Cooper songs you could use as well
