I liked it, I mean sure it wasn't scary or anything but it was funny as hell. I think Rob Zombie did a pretty good job for his first time directing.

I would say he has potential as a horror director. I liked it.

OK for a debute ... watchable fun nothing special!

I think the "Devils Rejects" sounds really good so far though!

Heres a promo poster for the new one ... it has a really cool 70's look ... I think theres a good chance this will be a great modern horror, with a nice retro feel!

i thought this was a great movie...all of my friends bitched that it was horrible, but they were thinking in terms that it had to be scary...i liked it bc of the actual righting...it was creative...in a weird freaky way...i used to listen to zombie's cd when he first wrote the song 4 the movie b4 it came out...that song completly creeped me out

same here. and i feel that the sequel to House of 1000 Corpses (Devils Rejects) will be just as good if not better then the first one that was Diercted by Rob Zombie

One of the greatest movies in a long time. Love the Gritty camera work and sick dialect. Plus Rob is cool as hell. I got my pick taken with him at Ozzfest

it had a nice feel to it.like tch meets hhe...kinda sorta.more than a little pissed they did'nt(or have yet to)release an ultra violent director's cut...i expected more from rob.

Lotta fun. Completely unpretentious exploitation. Never tried to be anything else.

I liked it a lot. It was a bit of a throwback, but didn't get too fanboyish. The editing style and the way it was shot was great. Thought the special effects were pretty sweet too, especially ''Fish boy'' Most of the characters had a unique feel which was cool. The blend of humor with horror worked well.
For his debut film I'd say it was a very good job, and think he has the potential to be a great horror film maker - someone who understands horror films as a fan not as a corporate executive.

im sry. but "fishboy" was downright silly looking, i laughed at that, whats the point of turning someone into a fish?? do they like fish? do they make artistic statements with aquatic life?? i didn't get it. plus some of the names were silly, Mama Firefly, was rob up late at night and had to think of a name and just happened to look outside during the summer?

I thought it was crap. Cheap and nasty rip-off of TCM. Very disappointing. I won't bother going to the sequel

I liked it. Best horror movie that we had in a long time. I thought it was more of a homage to TCM then a rip off.
