Jason CAN'T talk... Or so I was led to believe... During his "Examination" in the "film" "Jason X" (with "acting" and "special effects" and even a "plot") they said that he hadn incredibly tiny brain capable only of the most basic instinct, "to kill," or something...

I doubt he'll have a grandiose soliloquy on what drove him to do the things he did thats comparable to Hamlet's "To Be, or Not To Be..."

I say, keep him a grunting, drooling, mindless wreck... Makes him more of a machine, which, at times, can be far more frightening that someone with cheesy catchphrases and their ilk...

IMO, of course...

Jason has always grunted, but IMO he should never ever speak. Same goes for Mr. Myers.

Don't really want to hear Jason talk. I mean, what profound thing would he have to say?

Hell No! Jason shouldn't talk. that would ruin the fucking movie. Same goes for Myers.

yeah, he shouldn't talk. that would take so much away from the character. like i was very disappointed when leatherface took off his mask in the remake. i don't want to know what he looks like. i want that to be kept to the imagination. same goes for jasons voice or myers voice. if they talked they might sound completely oppoistie of what i thought they woudl sound

i couldnt immagine anyhting worse then having jason talking, i mean jason kills...period, why does he need to talk? he doesnt need jokes or diplomacy, he has blood lust.

He'll talk in the tv series. Of that, you can be certain.

No talking. Even Freddy talks too much in the later movies in comparison to the original movie. If they talk it's almost like you can reason with them. No talking adds to the horror element.

for some reason whenever i here kane hodder talking in his movies, i imagine its jasons voice rather than his, and mentally project it onto my minds images of jason talking

What's your favorite non-Jason Hodder film.

easy. Hatchet, hatchet, hatchet! By a massively long way. The Hatchet is one of (if not the) my favourite horror series. I love em all. I know the answer is a copout becuase you wouldnt even know it was him unless you saw his name in the credits. A lot of the roles i've seen him in have being as cameos, or disguised and the ones i have seen him as himself to an extent (as such) in haven't being that great to be honest. He has being in some cool films uncredited, disguised or briefly (frozen is in my top 5 movies ever) but i couldn't give you a list really. I've only just (in the last few years) got interesed in certain actors in horror, pretty much before that i just liked horrors for what they are.
