thats terrible, never heard of hammer, or Oliver Reed.

I'll give you some memory jog, Oliver Reed Played Proximo in Gladiator, the guy that owned Maximus and brought him to Rome.

Sadly he died before the film was completed, but the wonders of CG technology enabled them to complete the film and finish his parts.

maybe you would remember him from the naked male wrestling scene from "a woman in love", it's even better in the cut european version where they actually removed the wrestling and cut back to them lying down naked and breathless, olly turns round and says "i hope i wasn't to rough on you" :D :D :D

Ahh, but you should be proud of how good Oliver Reed went... He was out drinking (as he apprently loved to do), and died of a heart attack outside of a pub. Bystanders said that after he went, he was smiling. Can't get any better than that :)

Except possibly for the boobie-suffocation :D

yeah, Oliver Reed was the ultimate celeb hellraiser imo, always enjoying a drink and invariably drunk, but was an awsome actor!!

big up to the Guy.
