Maybe I'm old school, but I liked Ghost Story (Peter Straub) and Poltergeist. Still, The Shining is the best.

A Tale of Two Sisters (korean): I recently imported this movie(dvd) and after the first viewing was totally blown away. I enjoyed it so much that i watched it a second time and found that I missed many clues to the story. Very well crafted movie. Clever story, beautiful cinematography, huge plot twist, and A-class acting...my new favorite horror movie...Dreamworks has purchased the remake rights to this movie and it should hit theatres in late 2004 or early 2005.
The Shining: "Honey, I'm Home!" Need I say more?
The Others: Nicole Kidman is hot.
