Hi all,

I'm trying to remember the name of an old black and white horror/suspense movie I saw on tv a long time ago.

It's one where a man dresses as a woman to deceive others, and one of the characters works in a flower shop. Also, close to the end before all the scary stuff happens there's a clock that appears and a man's voice is narrating and saying that a frightening scene is about to happen and is warning the audience.

Sorry, I know that's pretty vauge but it was a long time ago. If this sounds familiar to any of you and know the name of the movie let me know.

thanks!
jane

Could it have been "Glen or Glenda"? Where a man dressed up like a woman, because he liked them so much. It was a William Prince film. So, I think this could be it.

It is Glen or Glenda film by Ed Wood I saw it not too long ago. It's a very weird film and kind of crap and annoying because it's better if the audience isn't told what is going to happen I think most of you will agree with me when I say that we all like to be surprised. Being intrigued and held in suspense is something that all major filmakers try to make their audience it's the only way to catch their attention.

What they said. I feel very late.

. . . Ed Wood was scarier than the movies he made.

That just proves my theory to be correct. YOu have to be scarier than the movies themselves otherwise you get nowhere.

I've seen that movie but it would have to be quite a while ago that's why I didn't think of it but it clicks now. Has anyone seen In The Beyond?
