what movies just make you think, just from watching a few minutes that they are not true or realistic?

Suppose it depends on what way we consider 'realistic'. Take Fulci's "The Beyond". My friend sees it as daft - pure and simple - lack of plot, bad effects etc etc, while I've always loved it because it's dream-like.

Santa Claus Conquers the Martians.

yeah santa claus conquers the martians was of course very poor in effects and in budget, and it is the 41 st worst movie in the world, though it really isn't that bad as a movie but it is not whatsoever a good horror movie it's more along the lines of a scifi mystery and suspense movie and because of the graphics I must say you are right on the money ferret that it is not realistic or believable as a horror movie!

In regards to Halloween, he gets stabbed in the eye, shot a bunch of times, falls out a window and gets back up. Not very realistic if you ask me.

I'm not saying its bad. Horror is supposed to be unrealistic to a certain degree.

I meant realistic in the sense of a masked murderer not the staying alive part

Gingerdead Man, not so much the guy coming back to life but the fact that the bakery can pass a health inspection when the workers can't even notice blood going into the mix!

Godzilla Vs. Megalon. I dont know if it was meant to be a comedy or if it was so bad it just came out that way. Anyway, its fun to watch.

Well yeah if we pick and choose things from horror movies of course we can find realistic aspects. I thought we were judging the movies as a whole
