as you may already know, i love westerns, and this looks perfect.
Directed by Ed Harris, starring Ed Harris and Viggo Mortensen, looks like its got plenty of tough guy mentality and action, I'm totally stoked.

Yea, I've been hearing a lot of good things about it too. At first, I thought it was a remake of the Brando flick. The western is making a slow but strong comeback, I think, thanks to 3:10 to Yuma, The Proposition, No Country for Old Men, There Will Be Blood, Assassination of Jesse James, etc. Hope they stay on the quality trail.

I think as long as new westerns keep the old school feel like 3:10 to Yuma did, the Western is alive and well.

I've been waiting for this one too. It has all the elements for a great film.

I am a devoted western fanatic and this looks like a great movie.The book was very well written and I have high hopes for the movie.

Harris and Mortensen look like the essence of badass in this one - I'll be checking it out for sure, ASAP.
