803Studios has been known for going beyond the limits of your standard
graphic novel or comic and they’ve done it again with “Trench coats,
Cigarettes & Shoguns” Written and Created by Senior Member and Co-founder
of the studio Chuck Brown with Illustrations by Philipp Neundorf – “SCRON”
and Covers by Nat Jones – “SPAWN”, “MEDEVIL SPAWN”, “The NAIL” and “ Frank
Frasetta’s DEATH DEALERS”.
The book’s title hints at thugs, gangsters, and lots of bullets in between
and as the pages turn many other layers of the world of “Trench coats
Cigarettes and Shotguns” are revealed. The three-issue mini-series follows
hit man Trypp Ignazio as he hunts down a mafia of demonic/human hybrids to
avenge the death of his childhood friend.
Each page is a painted canvas of mech armed mobsters, demonic gandaloons
and demons that run wild on earth. Readers will witness Trypp Ignazio as
he walks a thin line of right, wrong and wickedness as he attempts to stop
the demonic mafia and hold on to what little good that’s left in him.
803Studios has gained notoriety as a professional-grade self-publishing
creative studio over the past four years punctuated by their recent
releases of “Sequential Suicide: SLOP” & “K.I.P Knowledge Is Power”. Their
members have been published by Desperado Publishing, Dark Horse Comics,
Shadowline, Image Comics & Arcana Studio.

mini-series and will debut at the New York Comic Con on April 18th . It
