A dark 1980's era full length feature film that I wrote and directed last year called "Midnight Heat" is now available for viewing on youtube.

"Midnight Heat" is a story of cops, hookers, killers, and pimps; all centered around one sleazy night in the late 1980's. A cocaine addicted homicide detective (Jake Norvell) is brought out of suspension in order to trail a local prostitute (Bianca Queen) who may become the next victim of The Scalper (Nick Foster), a serial killer who preys on the city's hookers. Meanwhile, her mentally unstable pimp (Brad Jones, YouTube's "The Cinema Snob") attempts to get out of the business while finding it harder to protect his girls from both the killer and from an abusive rival pimp (Buford Stowers). With an ensemble cast of characters and intersecting story lines, "Midnight Heat" is a throwback to the taut seedy streetwalker thrillers of the early 80's such as "Vice Squad" and "Savage Streets," featuring a soundtrack filled with hits from the 80's by Laura Branigan, Phil Collins, Glenn Frey, Madonna, Pat Benatar, Bananarama, Hall & Oates, A Flock of Seaguls, and many more.

SIDE NOTE: Because of the transfer to an online media file, the picture quality of the film on YouTube may be darker and grainier than the actual film itself.

I'd love to watch it, but it's too poorly lit to see anything
