Agreed! Well, at least for the genre of horror punk...

Nekromantix is one fun band! They've got some killer lyrics and one hell of a cool sound...

Other honorable mentions onclude Blitzkid, Mister Monster and Calabrese...

Rock!

Yeah, I think that bass looks awesome. So awesome, in fact, I've got a Nekromatix t-shirt that states "Coffin Bass is Cool."

I couldn't agree more!

" I got something to say. I raped your momma today"

"They called us walking corpse, unholy living dead; They outta lock us up, put us in their british hell."

Two of my favorite misfits lyrics.

( I checked out Nekromantix. They are like Mad Sin!

I love em)

45 Grave are very cool. I still have the Sleep in Safety LP and the Wax 7".

I grew up on LA punk from that era... another horror band from the same scene is the Flesheaters. Great lyrics, great music. I don't know if any of their stuff is available anymore but it's worth checking out.

does anyone remember Ink & Dagger? they were awesome and all their songs were about how they were vampires. there are tons of bands out there that are horror-related or use that imagery (the Bronx being one of the more recent examples). if you'll allow me a bit of self-promotion, I'm in a band called the Creeping Cruds (www.creepingcruds.com). you should all check out the site and see what you think.

I do. I remember something about Sean McCabe dying. I used to think that Sean McCabe was in the original Basketcase b/c a Sean McCabe played young Duane. Different guy though.
