Hey guys. I'm new to this board but just wanted to say that "Silver Bullet" is my Favorite movie of all time! I actually live in Wilmington, NC and Burgaw NC where it was filmed. I have found numerous places and visited them but would like any information anyone could give me about places they know of. I know a lot of people worked as extras and such on that movie back in the 80's so PLEASE get in contact with me. I've actually worked with Everett McGill(Rev. Lowe) on a movie around 3 years ago but he told me he doesn't remember very much about doing that movie. So, if anyone out there has any ideas as to how or who I can contact to get specific locations or addresses please email me a.s.a.p. Thanks.

I hope you like it then. It's Corey Haim AND Gary Busey though. What's not to love?

Yeah. It was filmed here in Wilmington (Lake and fireworks Scenes) and in Burgaw (Tarkers Mill Festival and downtown). As far as Marty's house, I'm pretty sure it's on the outskirts of Burgaw. There's one place I have'nt a clue about though. I can't find the church anywhere. Dont ask why I even have an interest in finding these places. It's just my favorite movie of all time and I think it's cool seeing places in person that I've seen on tv since I was in 3rd grade. Call me a nerd:cool:

I live in WNC. Didn't know it was filmed in this state.

Anyway, I liked this movie too and think it gets little recognition. I think the book it was based on, "Cycle of the Werewolf", was great as well, though in many ways different...

Let's see, Heather Donahue would have been about 11 at the time whereas Megan Follows was 17.

Silver Bullet is one of the top 3 werewolf flicks of all-time, they rotate according to my mood, but it's always in the top 3.

"He was torn aparttttt!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr" :)

As far as Heather Donahue being a "new" actress, I haven't bought that line once since she does the Steak 'N Shake commercials! LOL

Hey, she was good in Taken. I think those Steak N Shake commercials may have come after Blair Witch, lol.
