Anyone check this out yet-by rob Zombie-its pretty good so far I have the issues 1& 2 they go into background of Dr. Satan and stuff plus interviews with the cast of 1000 corpses and some cool ads. Was at the comic book store today and havent heard anything about the Nail yet so still waiting on that.

I guess if they aren't posted on in a certain amount of time, threads go away. Anywho, there was another thread on here talking about Spookshow and it seems cool. There was also some stuff on Nail and Steve Niles. Creeper, if it's not too much trouble, could you go into the Dr. Satan background stuff? Is it in more detail than the flick?

Well I went thru, #1 last night, and so far as the storie goes Dr Satan worked at an insane asylum experimenting on the patients. The local folk get tired of hearing the screams from the evil goings on so they take Dr Satan out and hang him, the tree referred to in the film. The Professor comes and saves him from death and then helps Dr Satan take revenge on the good towns people, it seems that he can command demons from Hell, that was what attacked the town folk. Now one other thing Dr Satan doesnt speak english in the comic book, I thought it to be either German or old Latin, I didnt have time to research it but I will tonite and will let you know. I really would like to know what it is that he is saying.

There is also a good story about Baby who gets picked up by some bible thumpers who are going to attempt to save her soul by sacrifice, of course brother Otis comes to the rescue.

You also may want to check out www.halloweentown.com they have some cool 1000 corpses stuff. Especially love the tshirts.

Dude, that sounds cool. I wish I lived closer to comics store. The nearest one is like a two-hour drive.

the comics are really cool but they dont follow just one story theres like 3 stories in one comic. Still very cool

Yes they are pretty cool!!!! I just got issue #3 in the mail the other day....Its got a cool cover with Otis and Baby on it!!!!Havent read it yet though,but I have #1 and #2 and they were awesome!!!!
