I have this same problem with two Japanese movies. They have no subtitles at all. I know SOME Japanese, but not enough to understand an entire movie.

Yup I have this problem sometimes. I usually just search google for the correct .SRT file. In other words I just type "movie name" srt in the search field.

Has worked for me everytime, but sometimes it takes longer to find depending on how good the .SRT websites are that it provides.

I'm annoyed because I did find a really good source for .SRT's and thought I bookmarked it, but its not in my favourites anywhere :(

Make sure if you're using .SRT files that you have the program/dll that tells your video player to load the subtitles into the movie (it does it automatically as long as the .SRT file is the same name as the movie and in the same folder). You probably know that stuff already, but in case you dont, once again just search google for how to use .SRT files.

Hope that helps. If I find a good .SRT file website I'll let you know. :)

Instead of going through all of that, I personally would just cut my losses, and get another one...I found it on Amazon for $7...

Something to consider...
