they're making the hills have eyes 2, or rather a remake of the hills have eyes 2 which was originally made in 1985. however, instead of a biker gang it's a group of national guard trainees.

here's the link for it: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0800069/

it cant be as bad as the original hills have eyes 2 however i wouldnt consider this a remake to the hills have eyes 2 just a sequal to the remake. Spoiler Alert:

(remember in the original hills have eyes ruby lives and returns in the sequal in the remake however thats not possible)

i think the fact that the dog has a flashback sequence is the real point here

they should just take up Hills Have Eyes 2 remake where the original left off, because it left me hanging.

Well here is a good arguement it seemed that all of them were killed the mutants but the binoculars scene at the end was there more of them in that little ghost town? You would think that since most of them were out and involved in killing the family one by one that there wasnt anymore. Ok another thing i heard was there is going to be a mutant that changes colors depending on the surroundings around him, THAT IS STUPPPPPPPPPID, whoever came up with that idead needs to get slapped that is the worst thing you could do to this movie is put in a color changing idiot.I hope that some people who are working on the film see this and go Oh shit he's right.

"Alexandre Aja, the director of the remake, will not be directing this sequel. Craven originally looked at Michael J. Bassett, the director of Deathwatch, to take over the directing role, but ultimately chose Martin Weisz after scheduling conflicts with Bassett. Weisz is a video and commercial director, who has directed videos for such artists as Brandy, Puff Daddy, Korn, Nickelback, and JC Chasez." from wiki

This movie is going to be bad with a capital B.

This sounds promising though:

Aja's not directing and only co-writing so that kills most of my interest.

Killer!!!

Can't wait, bummer about the director but my interest is still maintained. This should be great.

probably because he has no desire in directing a remake of the sequel to the hills have eyes and would rather focus on other projects.

He's an amazing writer and director, and once he learns how to write an ending... lol :D I pretty much look forward to all his movies now though.

Ruby could still be alive. she wouldnt be the first movie character to survive a huge plummet like that.

Want to hear something funny? I thought it was an original and when I read the plot outline I thought it sounded like an asian horror movie. :p
