I'll give it a shot. Some wrestlers seem to convert well to the big screen. Some don't. Kane is a big guy; I might him at an autograph signing once. When he shook my hand, it was like his paws just engulfed mine. I'm an average size guy, 6'0, around 180lbs. I felt like a child next to him.

WWE turning the making of and release of this movie into a wrestling angle has soured me on it. I'll wait for cable or bootleg DVD

I didn't like Hulk Hogan as Mr. Nanny, I didn't like the Rock as The Scorpion King... I probably won't like this.

Surely you had to like Goldberg in Santa's Slay!

"No Holds Barred" is a classic. Rip versus Zeus!!

For Christ's sake.

If it says "WWE Films" in the beginning...I mean, come on...

I'll wait for an HBO viewing.

I wonder if the storyline and acting will be right up there with WWE Smackdown. My last movie that I saw was "Wolf Creek" so it has to be better than that.

Horrid grammar aside, this sentence is just wrong!

Having a wrestler doesn't make a film good. In fact, it probably increases the odds that the quality of the actors is sub-par.

As for this particular movie, I'll probably rent it when it comes out, but I won't be rushing to the theatres for it.

I'm a wrestling fan but this isn't wrestling, it's film. I wouldn't rush to a wrestling event beacuse Martin Scorsese was on the card. I'll see it but I don't have any heightened or lowered expectations due to a wrestler.

its your opinion and my sister told me not to worry about grammar because noone would care boy was she wrong. well i think it will be awesome non the less.

Can you at least capitalize your I's? It's just that simple things like that shouldn't have to be thought about, you should do them automatically relaxed or not. Anyway, Kane looks like a beast in that movie and it does look like it has some potential.

I agree with that. He's been acting out this role almost everyday for about 5 years now so it's not hard to believe that he'll be pretty good. But like I said before this is film not wrestling.

As an avid wrestling fan, since like the age of 4, I have to strongly disagree with this statement. Glen Jacobs has been playing the role of Kane since '97. He's perfect for the movie. If it was a more serious role then I'd definitely agree with you. I mean we obviously can't expect Jacobs to turn in a Denzel Washington-like performance, but for the type of movie it is I believe he'll do an above adequate job.

Anyway...I'll definitely be seeing this on the 19th. From the clips they've showed on RAW I've actually been impressed. I didn't think it'd be nearly as good as it seems.

I have to add Rocky 3 which had Hulk Hogan as Thunder Lips, They Live with Rowdy Roddy Piper, and The Rundown with The Rock to this list.

As far as the movie with Kane, so far the movie has 0% at rottentomatoes.com. That is pretty bad, even for a horror movie. Hell I think the movie Ultraviolet ended up with a 10% and that movie was awful. People have argued on this thread that Kane has played this part for years and that he was made for the part. I don't doubt that he may be good for this part, I can't say either way because I haven't seen it yet, but a movie needs more than a good killer, it needs a good script, tight direction, and good supporting actors. I doubt the movie has any of these. I'll definitely wait until it comes out on DVD. Even then I don't know if I can get myself to waste a Netflix rental on this movie.
