I have files on my old computer that I want to put on my new one, can someone tell me how to set it up so I can do that by connecting the computers? I've been trying all morning with no luck.

You could always use the power of INTERNETs and email them to yourself, providing that they're not huge.
I wonder what ever happened to Egekrusher. He seemed like a pretty unstable dude. Always talking about killing himself. His last post where something about him falling in love with his sister or step-sister.Then he just vanished.

get a network crossover cable

I remember him. I don't remember him talking about killing himself. I hope he's okay. Why don't one of you guys that talked to him some get his email address from the database and drop him a line? Tell him to get his butt back here, because he's missing all the fun.

thats fine...just backing up to removable device,
when you said usb to usb thought you were talking about connecting 2 pc's by a usb cable.....then you would need the software

for connectioning 2 pc's together by a usb cable, remote connection file transfer software....used to use laplink for this

he did talk about killing himself but from what i rembere he got over his sister and the sucicde thing.... wait im going to search him on google see what i get
