Can't wait for V for Vendetta! I didn't even know it was coming out this month. Well, I've got to make some money before the release of this movie.

BTW, does anybody know what v for Vendetta is rated (because I'm too lazy to go to imdb.com and figure it out myself)?

YJ,

V For Vendetta

dilema:

I want to see Block Party. But...there's no way in HELL that I'm going to see it here, since it would be crowded as fuck every single day until it closes, and with loud obnoxious idiots. But I don't want to wait until DVD, because said loud obnoxious idiots will have loud obnoxious conversations in which they will talk about every single thing in the movie, and these people will be EVERYWHERE, so the movie will be ruined for me. I don't want this to happen, but I don't think the arthouse theater will be showing it.

any ideas?

Throw a Block Party, then leave the party, and see Block Party.

I don't know! I think it involves inviting everybody on your block to a party.

Idea

Find someone who works at a movie theatre who you are friends with or are atleast okay with and ask him to let you see it.

If you lived near me I'd hook you up considering I work at one. Just tonight I ran Running Scared at 11 PM because My brother and I wanted to see it, so when the theatre cleared we put it on to watch it. No one was there but us. It was quite amazing.

A block party is where they entirely shut off a block of a town or city, they usually have some bands play, and everyone is invited. Ususally sponsered by a raido station.

Then camp out and wait to see Block Party the night before it opens! You could take a portable dvd player (if you have one) and watch some horror movies until Block Party. Or just watch stand-up comedy from Dave Chappelle himself. Whatever works!

I am definitely excited about V for Vendetta. I have always liked that graphic novel more than the Sin City comics, anyway (which is saying a lot b/c I love the Sin City stuff).

lots of people told me Ultraviolet was horrible, and for being pretty young, not sure of the typical age in here, but me (being 17) enjoyed The Hills Have Eyes, and I'm pretty knowledge-less when it comes to classic horror films, but the ones I do see, I usually enjoy, the previews you guys put up for Slither did make it like something not to go see, so I'm not sure, what's up w/ anything on Stay Alive, the video game horror movie coming out March 24th? I'm down for seeing that and the comedy w/ Larry the Cable Guy, those 2 definitely a must-see for me.
