I stumbled upon this fine list while reading the Wikipedia article on "Horror Film". Ive yet to check out the rest of the site, but this extensive list makes for a very interesting read. I agree with many of his choices, though there are some I would either omit or rank higher. It's insanely long, and takes forever to read, but I recomend doing what I did: bookmarking it and reading half a page or so whenever your're on. He screws up some info near the end [It's only a movie...], but other than that he seems very knowedgeable and has put toghether a very cool list.

BTW- Before anyone accuses me of spamming, I say this: I wish! There is no chance I could make such a detailed, expansive, interesting and largely accurate list.

This list lost me when he called Rupert Everett an "uuber fag".....i have no time for such blatant prejudices.

Thanks for sharing that! That's a really good list. Like he said, it's hard for horror fans to agree on lists like that, but he has at least 50 out of 100 that would be on my list. Considering on lists like that I hardly ever agree with more than about 20, I was genuinely impressed!

Also, it's a wonderful thing for me to see a horror list WITHOUT Jaws on it!

Get 'outta here!

Anyway, decent list, I agree with some of it, disagree with others. I like reading people's lists though. Anyone got any other lists?

Perhaps Flayed, like myself, thinks that Jaws is one of the most overrated movies of all time?

No way on earth. Jaws is one of the best movies ever made.

Thats your opinion. I thought it was OK, nothing more. I'm entitled to think that, just as much as you're entitled to think it's a "classic".

I should've put IMO in there, that was my bad. yes, you can have whatever opinion on it that you want. as for it being a classic, that isn't my opinion, that's a definite fact.

That would be correct. I appreciate the movie, but pound for pound, there are a lot of movies that I consider better.
