Hi guys, I've been posting for about a month now, some of you will know me from some of the ideas for movies, and pieces of attempted writing in here....regardless of if you personally have posted back and forth with me before, I think we all need to take something seriously into consideration after the freddyfan issue.
As you know, there are people who almost immediately came in here posting about how it was all our fault...etc, and no doubt soon, some form of media will really rip into horror.com, even though the situation was handled in a mature way, and nobody got hurt, probably largely due to certain "posters".
Such negative attention does realistically put this site in jeapordy, issues like this have indeed shut down sites before. I personally, and I hope you're all with me, don't want this site to get shut down, but there may not be a lot we can do about it, the possibility sucks, and sucks bigtime.
So, I have already posted this idea on another "thread", but I think we should all get an email list going right here and now on this thread so that in the event that the worst does happen, we can perhaps look at an alternative to this site, I'm sure that between us, we would have the knowledge and technical expertise to keep "a site" running no matter what, anyway, I think it's a good idea, thankyou to all in advance.

Some of those guys are a bunch of a-holes.
They fail to realise how serious this could have been.
A lot of youngsters have killed class mates, parents, etc...freddy fan could have easily done the same.
Was allmykids supposed to know this guy only had a knife?
Threats like these have to be taken seriously & I am happy with the way you guys handled it..it could have easily ended up like the last few internet related deaths (irc) I've heard about.
