You can actualy aquire this from Hollywood Video. It's terrible, and full of zombies and a vampire/zombie that looks like the hamburgler. It also has Ron Jeremy in it as one of the main characters. The plot is actualy semi-origional and I was impressed with that most of all. The acting isn't too bad... but... well, it is, but that's enjoyable in an indie flick. A group of teenagers go to a b-movie set (which is an old house out by a cemetary) to do what teens do when left alone: drugs, sex etc. and two grave robbers (Ron Jeremy is one of them) steal an amulet from a corpse that brings the dead in the cemetary back to life. What's not to love? Just rent it. It has the potential to become a cult classic i think, but maybe not.

This movie just plain sucked IMO! First off, who the hell decided to put Ron Jeremy as one of the leading roles in this movie? They guy can't act for shit (doesn't surprise me) and proves so here. Also, those zombies looked shitty all over (and not because the actors playing them were ugly.) They didn't look dead. They looked like they put make-up on and went on stage. What the hell was this, a beauty pageant?! If you wanna see a good indie zombie flick, rent Feeding the Masses. It's a helluva lot better than this IMO!

This thing looked like it was shot by two 8th graders.

Horrible fuckin' piece of shit of a movie.

Ron Jeremy is in it to give a 'star' so to speak.... even though his acting sucks more then his usual porn star co-stars, he's the best (only) thing going for this flic.

I'm disgusted I wasted my 25 mins fast-forwarding thru it.

I'm disgusted I wasted my 25 mins fast-forwarding thru it.
The overdrawn out sex scenes (where you see nothing) were shot later as filler to give the movie a longer running time to release it as a feature. Seriously. I work with an actress from this and she told me.
The only thing that really bugs the hell out of me is the guy who made it. He seems to have a tendency to "borrow" ideas quite liberally (hell, this was basically 'NOTLD' with a bit of 'Evil Dead' thrown in and was still some cheesey fun). There are two companies I work with that basically had their entire plots ripped off from them by this guy. Even worse, he has the audacity to hire 3 of the 4 leads from one movie I'm working on to play similar roles in his movie on the same premise (also notable that "my" movie was announced way before his). Steal an idea, steal the cast, release what will likely be a bad movie at the same time as a far superior one comes out and people might not notice the difference until actually seeing it (mix up reviews on them as well). One more reason I hate working in the indie horror biz now - blatant theft.

In response to all of that... lighten up a bit gents! It's an indie flick, and the fact that it stars Ron Jeremy lets you know it's going to be cheesey. I don't know. I enjoyed it. Not in a serious light, obviously. Yes, that 'sex' scene was so long that i began to wonder if it was intended as satire.

I never knew that about the director. I do like this movie a little less now because he seems like kind of a scumbag.

There's Indie... then there's just a lack of any talent.

There are plenty of indie flicks I respect... This is not even in the indie category, though. This is in the category of, "Hey, I got an idea and my dad's handycam... wanna make a movie?"

Did you see the credits? They had PA's and everything (assuming they didn't fake the positions)... It really did look as though the director was the only crew member present. Horrible production value, especially when you take into consideration the amount of people involved.
