Has anybody ever heard of a director by the name Scooter McCrae? He's made a couple of low-budget, shot-on-video movies. The first one was a "zombie" movie called "Shatter Dead," and the other was a weird-ass sci-fi/horror/porno-type thing called "Sixteen Tongues" about a cop covered in tongue meat and a girl with clits under her eyelids.

For my money, other than Nathan Schiff (if anybody knows who that is), he's one of the best low-budget filmmakers around. If anybody else has seen his stuff, tell me what you think.

I absolutely love Scooter McCrae and his movies are really cool. He's also in the movie Bloodletting, which is my all-time fave movie. I also got the chance to interview him. Scooter is a really nice guy and I can't wait to see what he's gonna be doing next.

I heard he's doing something about child-molesting vampires... or something... I'm not really 100 percent on that one.

No, that's someone else. He's the guy with glasses who Susan steals the car from in Shatter Dead. And he's the guy getting pissed on in Sixteen Tongues.

Right, I thought it was him - from his picture he has the same daft hair and gormless expression on his fizzog as the dude in the film.

Thankfully, I've only been subjected to one of his pieces of dreck, Sixteen Tongues. It was one of the worst thought out and lowest quality indies I've ever seen. And he doesn't do very well stylistically with his attemp to incorperate the pornographic element.
