Come on, there has to be someone out there that has read the translated version of Koji Suzuki's Ringu.

I just saw Ringu a few nights ago and liked it. There was a trailer to the American remake, and it looked pretty over the top. Did anyone see/like the American one?

I saw it, but havnt seen the Japaneese version.
I thought it was pretty good...nothing spectacular, but certainly worth watching.
