Did anyone watch 100 Scariest Movie Moments? It was on last night on Bravo tv network. I think it was kinda a let down that they chose Jaws as the scariest. Also, that movie "When A Stranger Calls", has a story in "Scary Stories To Tell In the Dark" that was inspired by it. It really is exactly the same.

most of the time it's a panel of the paticular station's employees and other times it's a bunch of celebrities that had nothing better to do.

I don't agree with a few choices but you have to remember today as horror fans we've seen just about everything a filmmaker can throw at us. For it's time I'm sure Jaws was scary. It was something that wasn't seen before. I think however, a better choice could have been made. I don't think that you can take Jaws totally off the list but move it down a little.

I still can't believe Jaws and Alien beat out Exorist for #1. Don't get me wrong, Jaws was scary (Alien wasn't though) but Exorcist, IMO, was the scariest film I have ever seen. Especially since it supposedly happens to people. Scary shite, man!

I think I saw that program...

...weren't the entries presented in "no particular order"? I thought that was what Mr. Campbell said.
