Oh, jesus, it was a bear to find... i had to type in "amazon.com", THEN select DVD, then type "Bad Taste", and hit enter....

Okay, smart-ass dickhead remarks aside, its not hard to find at all:

its bloody, and it is easy to find if you dont mind ordering it online or through a local video store but i didnt like it because i thought the humor was horrible but im pretty sure im in the minority.

Yes its fantastic if you fancy a bit of escapist head screwing.
Get it if you can, might want to try Braindead too if you can.

Meet The Feebles....

The best and the worst puppet movie ever, wrapped in one.

it has:

A walrus screwing a cat.
A serenading porcupine
A dead porn star
A hippo with a machine gun
A really nasty bunny
"The Deer Hunter" references.

Lolololol....

I love how they put From the Director of LOTR....I find it hilarious looking at PJ's older stuff, cause so many people only know him cause of LOTR....they really need to see some of this stuff, lol.

Yeh the Lord of the Rings hype got really fucking annoying over here, practically killed my enjoyment of the series by the time the third one came out. I wish he would start doing splatter films again. I love both Braindead and Bad Taste they had a really quirky sense of humour and some really inventive gore.
I don't know how hard it would be to find in a video store it's fairly easy over here but copies are slowly disappearing.

I didn't think this was that great at all. Worth buying in a set, like you did...but meh.

Dead Alive was over-the-top in a good way, Bad Taste was over-the-top in a bad way.

(In my opinion)

(P.S. There IS a scene involving a certain mammal that goes "moo" that makes at least one viewing well worth it...)

Although not great by any means, it is still an entertaining film. Over the top gore, bodily functions, and the fact that this is (one of) Peter Jacksons first movies makes it a collectors must-have.

****Spoiler Alert****

The blood and gore...although rather pink in color, is abundant, the regurgatation (sp) scene, the character with his head busted open that goes into a seizure everytime it flaps open, the idiotic escapee aliens makes this a fun movie to watch. :D

This is one of the films that got me into horror. It has everything.. humour, gore and action.

Bottom line is.. it's fuckin' fantastic!

Btw: I'm new on the board. :D

yeah its not gore like in a slasher movie .. its really cartoonish .. very similar to Story of Ricky type gore ..

but a ton of fun..

I liked "Bad taste" for Peter Jackons creative mind. Liked it less for itīs poor, poooor actors.

But itīs still good for some laughs.

I can take them or leave them.I can however see this film and GWAR being set to music,an almost "natural" pairing.

if you've ever seen any of their videos (not necessarily music videos, but their full-length things) and you see this movie, you'll see why I made the comparison.

2 quick things: a lot of the "effects" are very similar. and the humor is also of the same variety.
